Southside Burger Bar is the latest food venture of brothers Nick and Steve Karvounis. Owners of the Southside Diner in Locust Point, the two opened in 2012 after purchasing what was previously Rallos Restaurant. In 2014, Nick and Steve relocated across the street and quickly became a neighborhood favorite. After 7 years of running and operating the diner, the two have opened Southside Burger Bar at Baltimore’s famous Cross Street Market. The aim for Southside Burger Bar is to keep the same friendly atmosphere found at Southside Diner, which is easily done by Nick and Steve’s charismatic and welcoming personalities.

The menu includes various types of burgers with as many toppings as you can think of, as well as some other quick favorites. As kids, they learned the ropes in their father’s stalls in Bel Air and Lexington Markets, serving robust breakfasts and classic lunch fare. Burger Bar continues the family legacy with burgers and dogs “done right.” Stop in and see for yourself!
